The ceremonial pipe organ of the 18th century was the Formula One racer of its time, a masterpiece of human ingenuity so elegant in its outward appearance that a casual observer could only guess at the complexity that lay within.

With the flourishing of waxwork in the 18th century, anatomical models were not only displayed in dissection rooms and schools, but also in sideshows and the curiosity cabinets of wealthy Victorian gentlemen.

The exhibition's curator looks at a few key exhibits from "Exquisite Bodies" and explains her perspective and fascination. In fact, the exhibition doesn't only show the progress of anatomical knowledge during history but also points out the evolution of 2 D exhibition techniques into 3 D techniques.
