KiiCS is a project funded under the European Commission (Science in Society programme) which started in 2012. One of its prime aims is to “incubate” art, science and technology through multidisciplinary actions.
SiS.net is the international network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for the Science in Society (SiS) area in the EU’s 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7). The network unites more than 60 representatives from all European and number of non- European countries.
In an era where science education inadequacy in formal and informal contexts is becoming and increasingly challenging issue, harvesting the potential of digital science education repositories appears as a very attractive alternative.
FEAST is a collaborative project, started at the end of 2011, co-funded by the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme, that involves 8 different partners all over Europe. It aims to involve families in the science education of children.
